Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Implement proactive monitoring and observability solutions to ensure 99.99% system availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to optimize application performance and latency.
- Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for complex production outages.
- Develop and enforce security best practices across all cloud environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote internal knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS or GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM).
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong background in Linux system administration and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing).
