Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure environments (AWS/Azure) to support state-wide applications.
- Lead migration initiatives from on-premises data centers to secure cloud native architectures.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate deployment workflows.
- Enforce security best practices, including FedRAMP compliance and identity access management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional government agencies to optimize service performance and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and lead incident response for critical systems.
- Manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate delivery cycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or system architecture.
- Deep proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud platforms with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional).
- Proven expertise in containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD automation tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong background in network security, firewall management, and encryption standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
