We are seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead our transition into multi-cloud environments and drive automation at scale.
You will work with a high-performing team of engineers in the heart of San Francisco, shaping the future of our hybrid-cloud roadmap while leveraging cutting-edge DevOps methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Architect robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity and reliability.
- Optimize cloud spending through rigorous monitoring, capacity planning, and resource rightsizing.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Establish and enforce high-security standards including IAM policies and network security groups.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct thorough post-mortems for system availability issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Deep expertise in AWS/Azure ecosystem and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure via Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs), and security.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
