Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Architect robust CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve reliability.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency, performance, and security.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct blameless post-mortems for complex system outages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion a culture of automation and security-first engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Deep technical proficiency in AWS or GCP cloud services and networking topologies.
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale.
- Strong proficiency in scripting/programming languages like Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems in production environments.
