Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain multi-region cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Optimize production environments for high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Lead incident response efforts and drive root-cause analysis for system disruptions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Collaborate with Security teams to implement zero-trust network architectures.
- Evaluate and integrate new cloud services to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically within AWS or GCP.
- Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong background in container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Fluent in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and cloud-native observability tools.
- Experience managing large-scale distributed systems in a production capacity.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
