Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Drive automation initiatives using Terraform and Ansible to streamline deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robust security and compliance standards.
- Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for complex infrastructure performance issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for best practices in site reliability engineering (SRE).
- Manage cost-optimization strategies to ensure efficient cloud resource utilization.
- Bridge the gap between development and operations through advanced CI/CD integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3) or Azure equivalent.
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for system automation.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
