Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Lead migration initiatives from legacy monoliths to microservices architectures.
- Enhance system observability, monitoring, and alerting protocols using Datadog and Prometheus.
- Optimize cloud spending through rigorous resource tagging and resource scaling strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD best practices into the software lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or SRE roles.
- Expertise in AWS or GCP cloud services (EC2, VPC, EKS, Cloud Run, IAM).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional technical projects.
