Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime for mission-critical applications
- Lead incident response and automation of infrastructure monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana
- Contribute to security best practices including IAM policies and network segmentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct infrastructure code reviews
- Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and services
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with AWS/GCP and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Cloud Professional
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
