Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments with zero-downtime requirements
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% system availability
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to implement best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 5+ years in AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation
- Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Expert/GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Experience with infrastructure security hardening and compliance
- Proven track record of designing multi-region, fault-tolerant systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
