Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead Kubernetes orchestration and containerization strategies for microservices architecture
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for zero-downtime deployments using GitLab CI and ArgoCD
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
- Conduct infrastructure cost optimization and security hardening (CIS benchmarks)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into scalable infrastructure designs
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct architecture reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing cloud infrastructure for high-traffic applications
- Expert proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Advanced knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and infrastructure-as-code principles
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go) and infrastructure automation
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, CKAD, or Azure AZ-104) preferred
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and improving system reliability
