Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-region cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Kubernetes
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime and zero-downtime deployments
- Lead cost optimization initiatives reducing cloud spend by 15-20% quarterly
- Develop disaster recovery solutions with RTO/RPO targets under 15 minutes
- Conduct security audits and implement IaC security best practices
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into scalable infrastructure
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch)
- Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Demonstrated success in optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
