Are you ready to architect the future of cloud scalability? NexusScale Systems is looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our high-impact team in the heart of San Francisco. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring peak performance, security, and reliability for our enterprise-grade applications.

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi to standardize deployments.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost-efficiency through strategic architectural tuning.
- Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters to support mission-critical microservices.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless, secure deployments.
- Proactively monitor system performance and implement automated incident response workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the engineering organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS or GCP services (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, Cloud Run).
- Deep experience with Kubernetes orchestration and containerization (Docker).
- Strong proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Proven expertise in CI/CD toolsets such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Experience with security best practices, including zero-trust networking and compliance management.
