Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation to ensure consistent deployments.
- Optimize cloud spending and performance through proactive monitoring, cost-analysis, and architectural refactoring.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles and improve developer productivity.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement robust IAM policies, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of high performance.
- Drive incident response and post-mortem analysis for cloud-based system disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS/GCP services (EC2, VPC, Kubernetes, RDS, S3).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs, Subnetting).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems in high-traffic environments.
