Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud costs through architectural improvements and FinOps best practices
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud-native environments
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM, VPC design, and compliance controls
- Monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement GitOps workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years AWS specialization
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python/Bash)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Demonstrable success in high-availability, multi-region deployments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps methodologies
