Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure architectures.
- Lead the migration and optimization of legacy applications to cloud-native environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, automated deployments across global regions.
- Monitor system performance, perform root-cause analysis, and implement proactive optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security compliance and cost-management frameworks.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep proficiency with containerization and orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes.
- Strong expertise in scripting (Python, Go, or Bash) for automation tasks.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and compliance (SOC2/GDPR).
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions.
