Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the migration of legacy monolithic architectures to containerized microservices using Kubernetes.
- Implement advanced observability, logging, and monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Lead incident response protocols and conduct deep-dive post-mortems to improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in security and performance optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, SecOps, and Product Engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expertise in AWS or GCP cloud services and managed Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby for automation.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
- Strong knowledge of networking, security protocols, and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems under high pressure.
