Responsibilities
- Architect and manage highly available, fault-tolerant production environments on AWS.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment.
- Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and lead incident response.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps).
- Manage container orchestration systems using Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) and Docker.
- Automate manual operational processes to improve system reliability and team efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proven expertise in AWS services: VPC, EC2, RDS, Lambda, EKS, and IAM.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong background in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Deep understanding of networking, security protocols, and cloud cost management.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaborative problem-solving.
