We are seeking a strategic Cloud Infrastructure Architect to spearhead our transition to a secure, scalable, and resilient multi-cloud environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our digital services remain robust, secure, and accessible for all citizens.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions across AWS and Azure environments.
- Lead the migration of legacy government data centers to modern cloud-native architectures.
- Develop and enforce robust security protocols in compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology roadmaps with agency mission goals.
- Design automation pipelines (CI/CD) to optimize deployment velocity and operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Provide high-level oversight for disaster recovery planning and continuous service availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and deployment.
- Proven track record of managing enterprise-level cloud migrations for public sector or regulated industries.
- Deep expertise in AWS/Azure infrastructure services (VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Kubernetes).
- Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity requirements and data protection laws.
- Active US Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
