Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-availability cloud architectures using AWS GovCloud and Azure Government.
- Lead the migration of legacy on-premise infrastructure to containerized, cloud-native environments.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments while maintaining rigorous compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to define roadmap strategies for long-term digital transformation.
- Conduct regular system audits to optimize cloud expenditure and performance efficiency.
- Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity protocols are integrated into all architecture designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in systems engineering and cloud architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Proven track record of deploying infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Deep understanding of federal cybersecurity policies and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST).
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
