We are seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, secure, and scale our hybrid-cloud environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional agency teams to modernize legacy infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of security and operational excellence mandated by federal guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-grade hybrid cloud solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Define and enforce infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards using Terraform and Ansible.
- Lead the migration of legacy, mission-critical applications to modernized cloud-native architectures.
- Ensure 24/7 system availability, reliability, and performance through proactive monitoring and automated remediation.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to implement FedRAMP and NIST compliance controls across all environments.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and lead internal cloud adoption workshops.
- Drive continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) excellence to streamline government software delivery lifecycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, systems engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Advanced certification in AWS (Solutions Architect Professional) or Azure (Solutions Architect Expert).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects within the public sector or highly regulated environments.
- Deep expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) and serverless technologies.
- Strong working knowledge of federal information security regulations (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53).
- U.S. Citizenship is required to meet federal security clearance eligibility.
