Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust cloud-native infrastructures using AWS and Azure government clouds.
- Lead the migration of legacy federal applications to modern microservices architectures.
- Implement rigorous security frameworks, ensuring compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agency stakeholders to define long-term technical roadmaps.
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
- Optimize cloud spending through systematic resource monitoring and cost-governance strategies.
- Drive incident response and disaster recovery protocols to ensure 99.99% system availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, systems engineering, or DevOps.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
- Proven track record of managing complex projects within a government or highly regulated environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
