Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive incident response protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize container orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Implement robust security measures and compliance standards across all cloud environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives to improve deployment frequency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3).
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization best practices.
- Expert-level experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
