Are you a cloud architect at heart with a passion for automation? Nexus Systems Global is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our transition to a fully serverless, multi-cloud architecture. In this role, you will define the roadmap for our CI/CD pipelines, optimize our container orchestration, and ensure 99.99% uptime for our global services.

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain high-scale, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Architect robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity across multiple environments.
- Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production system outages.
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and observability.
- Implement cost-optimization strategies for cloud resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate manual operational tasks.
- Manage security best practices, including IAM roles, encryption, and vulnerability management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS services (EKS, Lambda, RDS) and Terraform.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and service mesh architectures.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or Go for infrastructure automation scripting.
- Strong background in monitoring and observability stacks like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical stakeholders.
