Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable microservices for core financial transactions with a focus on ultra-low latency and security.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure all system architectures rigorously meet banking standards (PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR).
- Optimize database queries to handle millions of transactions per second efficiently without compromising data integrity.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles while maintaining zero-downtime releases.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold the highest engineering standards across the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s in a technical discipline is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably within the Fintech or Banking sector.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python with deep knowledge of concurrent programming and multi-threading.
- Experience with distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker) and major cloud providers (AWS, GCP).
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Elasticsearch).
