Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
- Architect CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Lead migration efforts from monolithic legacy systems to Kubernetes-based microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture and compliance (SOC2/GDPR).
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement proactive monitoring solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps best practices across the organization.
- Optimize cloud spending through resource utilization analysis and cost-management strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and Docker.
- Deep understanding of IaC tools, specifically Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong experience with monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
- Solid grasp of networking protocols, load balancing, and DNS management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
