Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software teams to optimize microservices architecture.
- Lead post-incident reviews and implement root cause analysis (RCA) improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices for cloud-native development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS/GCP and container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Deep expertise in scripting with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced, and remote-friendly startup environment.
