Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures using AWS or Azure, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP High and DoD IL5 standards.
- Lead the end-to-end cloud migration strategy for legacy government systems, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security analysts, developers, and project managers to define technical requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and architectural assessments to ensure best practices and technical excellence.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including system diagrams, runbooks, and technical specifications.
- Provide mentorship to junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or a related role.
- Active Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or CISSP.
- Deep understanding of federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA) and data privacy regulations.
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
