Responsibilities
- Design and execute Phase I-III clinical trials in compliance with FDA/ICH-GCP standards
- Lead cross-functional teams including biostatisticians, data managers, and regulatory affairs specialists
- Develop comprehensive trial protocols, budgets, and timelines for multi-center studies
- Monitor site performance and ensure data integrity through regular audits and site visits
- Collaborate with medical affairs to prepare regulatory submissions and clinical study reports
- Mentor junior research staff and conduct investigator training sessions
- Present findings at scientific conferences and contribute to peer-reviewed publications
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in life sciences, nursing, or related clinical field
- 8+ years of clinical research experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record managing complex oncology/rare disease trials
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or equivalent certification
- Advanced proficiency in eCRF systems and clinical trial management software
- Strong regulatory knowledge including FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for protocol deviations and safety reporting
- Experience with vendor management and CRO oversight
