Responsibilities
- Analyze electronic health records (EHR) and clinical trial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization
- Design and implement statistical models to predict patient outcomes and treatment efficacy
- Create interactive dashboards and reports for clinical stakeholders using Tableau and Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data governance frameworks ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Lead data visualization projects that translate complex medical insights into actionable clinical recommendations
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct peer reviews to ensure analytical rigor and reproducibility
- Stay current with emerging healthcare analytics methodologies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Data Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of clinical data analysis experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical setting
- Expertise in SQL, R/Python, and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Certification in clinical research (CCRP) or data analytics (CDMP, CCA) strongly preferred
- Proven ability to communicate statistical findings to non-technical clinical audiences
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) and clinical trial databases
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to regulatory compliance (FDA, HIPAA)
