Responsibilities
- Analyze complex clinical datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends in patient outcomes, treatment efficacy, and healthcare utilization
- Develop and validate predictive models for disease progression, patient readmission risks, and treatment response
- Create interactive dashboards for clinical leadership using Tableau and Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into actionable clinical recommendations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDA regulations, and data governance standards
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to departmental best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Biostatistics, Health Informatics, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of clinical data analysis experience in healthcare or life sciences
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (pandas, scikit-learn), and R
- Certification in clinical data management (CCDM) or health data analytics preferred
- Demonstrated experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) and clinical terminologies (SNOMED CT, LOINC)
- Strong understanding of FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex findings to diverse stakeholders
