Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models for clinical trials and health informatics systems.
- Perform rigorous data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data integrity across multiple sources.
- Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards using SQL, SAS, and visualization tools to support clinical decision-making.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulatory standards regarding patient data privacy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and IT specialists to define data requirements.
- Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Pharmacy, Statistics, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical data analysis, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
- Strong understanding of Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) guidelines and SDTM/Lite implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification as a Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM) or similar is a strong asset.
