Responsibilities
- Analyze complex clinical datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement within the EHR system.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal data governance policies.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and IT departments to design, implement, and maintain data quality dashboards and reporting tools.
- Perform data cleansing, mapping, and migration activities for clinical software upgrades.
- Conduct audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Generate actionable insights and predictive models to support clinical operations and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Biology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in clinical data analysis, healthcare IT, or medical coding.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong working knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and DICOM standards.
- Certification as a Certified Professional Data Analyst (CPDA) or equivalent is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
