Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Analysis: Design and execute complex analyses on clinical datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in patient care pathways.
- EHR Integration: Collaborate with IT and clinical stakeholders to integrate data from Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, ensuring data accuracy and interoperability.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive leadership.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and internal data governance policies.
- Process Optimization: Utilize predictive modeling and statistical techniques to optimize operational workflows and resource allocation within the medical facility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Bio-statistics, Public Health, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical data analysis or healthcare informatics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and statistical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS).
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik).
- Certifications: RHIA, RHIT, or CHDA certification is a strong plus.
