Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of civil engineering projects, from initial site assessment and feasibility studies to final construction and commissioning.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal safety codes, building regulations, and environmental standards.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Utilize advanced software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and models.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors, architects, and stakeholders to resolve on-site issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in California required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering project management and design.
- Proven experience in infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, or commercial building construction.
- Strong proficiency in BIM software and CAD tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to clients.
