Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical analysis of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Oversee site supervision and manage construction teams to ensure strict adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed project plans, cost estimates, and risk assessments in collaboration with project managers.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and coordinate with external stakeholders, including architects, surveyors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in the industry.
- Professional membership (e.g., ICE, CIHT, MICE) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to clients and non-technical stakeholders.
