We are seeking a visionary Senior Cardiovascular Surgeon to lead our surgical team in delivering high-acuity care to patients with complex heart and vascular conditions.

Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiovascular procedures, including CABG, valve replacement, and aortic surgery.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of physician assistants, perfusionists, and surgical nurses.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols to enhance patient safety and surgical recovery outcomes.
- Consult with patients and families, providing detailed treatment plans and post-operative care coordination.
- Mentor surgical residents and fellows within the academic residency program.
- Maintain high standards of medical documentation and compliance with hospital and federal regulations.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and mortality/morbidity reviews.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with a valid Massachusetts state medical license.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of clinical experience in high-volume cardiac surgery centers.
- Demonstrated expertise in minimally invasive cardiac surgical techniques.
- Strong publication record or involvement in clinical research is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead effectively in high-pressure environments.
