Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiovascular procedures, including CABG, valve repairs, and aortic surgery.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to determine optimal patient treatment pathways.
- Maintain the highest standards of pre-operative and post-operative surgical care.
- Collaborate with research teams to integrate new surgical technologies into clinical practice.
- Mentor junior residents and fellows in advanced surgical techniques and ethics.
- Ensure full compliance with hospital safety protocols and regulatory healthcare standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations to manage acute cardiac emergencies.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Thoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Valid medical license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in a high-volume hospital setting.
- Proven track record of successful outcomes in complex cardiothoracic interventions.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
