Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat complex cardiovascular conditions using advanced diagnostic techniques
- Perform interventional procedures including angioplasty, stent placements, and electrophysiology studies
- Develop personalized treatment plans integrating evidence-based medicine and patient-specific factors
- Lead multidisciplinary case conferences and contribute to departmental research initiatives
- Mentor cardiology fellows and junior physicians through structured teaching programs
- Participate in clinical trials and publish findings in peer-reviewed medical journals
- Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure comprehensive continuum of care
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Cardiology with active Massachusetts medical license
- Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology or Electrophysiology
- Minimum 5 years of experience in academic or hospital setting
- Expertise in advanced cardiac imaging techniques (CT, MRI, echocardiography)
- Strong track record in clinical research and peer-reviewed publications
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex procedures to patients
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams
