Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular care to a diverse patient population.
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs).
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac testing, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms.
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and primary care networks to optimize patient pathways.
- Participate actively in clinical trials, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental peer review processes.
- Deliver exceptional patient education, fostering shared decision-making and long-term wellness.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM or equivalent).
- Active, unrestricted Massachusetts Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in a high-volume cardiology setting.
- Proven track record of clinical leadership and academic publishing preferred.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate, patient-first care.
