Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable bioinformatics pipelines for high-throughput genomic and proteomic data analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with wet-lab scientists, clinical teams, and regulatory affairs to integrate data into our discovery platforms.
- Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning to identify novel biomarkers, drug targets, and therapeutic mechanisms.
- Optimize algorithms for performance, accuracy, and reproducibility in a cloud-based environment.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to support preclinical development and clinical trial design.
- Lead technical initiatives regarding data governance, quality assurance, and data visualization for stakeholder reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Systems Biology, or a related Life Sciences field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or academic research setting.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of molecular biology concepts and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies (RNA-seq, ATAC-seq).
- Cloud & Tools: Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
