Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices for our core banking platform.
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security in compliance with PCI-DSS and GDPR standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and frontend developers.
- Optimize database queries and infrastructure to reduce latency and improve throughput.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Drive technical strategy for backend improvements, including migration to cloud-native architectures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Expert proficiency in Java (Java 17+) and Spring Boot.
- Deep understanding of Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with AWS or GCP cloud services (Lambda, RDS, S3).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of financial regulations, security best practices, and encryption standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
