Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend APIs using modern languages and frameworks (Python/Go/Java).
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Lead technical strategy for database modeling, query optimization, and data consistency across distributed systems.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers to foster a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and frontend teams to define technical roadmaps and deliver user-centric features.
- Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and drive performance improvements to enhance user experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
- Proficiency in at least one major backend language (Python, Go, Java, or C#) and frameworks.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first culture.
