Responsibilities
- Design and train large-scale neural network architectures using PyTorch or JAX.
- Implement efficient fine-tuning techniques, including LoRA and RLHF, to optimize model performance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to architect distributed training pipelines on GPU clusters.
- Conduct cutting-edge research to solve complex problems in generative inference and model latency.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote rigorous code quality and ML engineering best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest literature in deep learning and apply novel research to production workflows.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in deep learning, specifically with transformers and LLMs.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, C++, and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Proven track record of deploying ML models to production environments at scale.
- Experience with distributed systems, GPU optimization (CUDA), and cloud computing (AWS/GCP).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial applications.
