Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable machine learning pipelines for model training and inference.
- Collaborate with researchers to transition innovative AI prototypes into production-grade systems.
- Optimize model architectures for latency and throughput in cloud-based environments.
- Develop robust data preprocessing and feature engineering workflows at scale.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices in AI/ML engineering.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance metrics for deployed AI models in real-world scenarios.
- Stay abreast of cutting-edge research and integrate breakthroughs into our core product roadmap.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, software engineering, or data science.
- Deep expertise in Python and proficiency in C++ or Rust for performance-critical components.
- Extensive experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX frameworks.
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale models into production environments (e.g., AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI).
- Strong understanding of Transformer architectures, NLP techniques, and vector databases.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a high-growth startup environment.
