Responsibilities
- Lead Design Execution: Oversee the architectural design process from concept development through to construction documentation, ensuring high standards of quality and innovation.
- Technical Modeling: Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to produce high-fidelity 3D models, detailed 2D drawings, and comprehensive construction sets.
- Client Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, conducting site visits, managing stakeholder expectations, and presenting compelling design concepts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, and Australian standards for sustainability.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with interior designers, structural engineers, and contractors to manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the construction process aligns with the approved design documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a professional architectural firm.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Portfolio: A strong, up-to-date portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities and technical drawing skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead junior staff and mentor designers within a team environment.
