We seek a visionary Senior Architectural Designer to lead complex commercial and residential projects from concept to completion. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions while mentoring junior designers and ensuring compliance with international building codes.
Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for mixed-use and high-rise projects
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and sustainability consultants
- Prepare detailed construction documents and specifications
- Manage client relationships and project timelines
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior architects and design staff
- Ensure adherence to BIM/VDC standards and workflows
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years of experience in commercial/residential design
- Registered Architect (NY license required)
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Enscape
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- Strong understanding of NYC Zoning Resolution
- Experience with facade and curtain wall systems
