Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development from concept to construction documentation
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, 3D visualizations, and material specifications
- Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA standards, and sustainability certifications
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design reviews
- Present proposals to high-profile clients and stakeholders
- Research emerging materials and technologies to drive innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of experience in commercial/residential design
- Registered Architect license (NY State required)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio of large-scale urban projects
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Strong client management and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience with BIM coordination
