Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development from conceptual sketches to construction documentation
- Manage client relationships and project timelines for high-profile NYC developments
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including MEP, structural, and sustainability consultants
- Develop innovative design solutions addressing urban density challenges and sustainability standards
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, 3D renderings, and material specifications
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for complex urban environments
- Mentor junior designers and maintain firm design standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-end architectural practice
- NY State Architect License (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio demonstrating successful luxury/commercial projects in dense urban settings
- LEED AP BD+C certification strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills and client management experience
- Knowledge of NYC building codes and Zoning Resolution
