Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual design development and technical documentation for commercial/residential projects
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure structural feasibility and code compliance
- Manage client relationships, presentations, and project milestone reviews
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design critiques to elevate team output
- Research emerging materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices
- Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and finish schedules
- Oversee project execution from schematic design through to construction administration
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture with 5+ years of professional experience
- Registered Architect (NY State license or equivalent required)
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-end residential and commercial projects
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of NYC building codes and zoning regulations
- Experience leading projects from conception to completion
- Exceptional visualization and presentation skills
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
