Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development for high-profile architectural and interior projects
- Create detailed construction documents and specifications ensuring compliance with NYC building codes
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and material specialists
- Develop compelling client presentations using advanced visualization tools (Revit, Rhino, Enscape)
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for adaptive reuse and new construction
- Mentor junior designers while maintaining design quality and project timelines
- Research and integrate sustainable materials and passive design strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- 8+ years of experience in architectural design with 3+ years in interior integration
- New York State Architectural License (RA) required
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio demonstrating commercial/residential project execution
- Strong understanding of NYC zoning regulations and LEED certification
- Exceptional client communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for biophilic design and human-centered spaces
